As Your Next Circuit Court Judge, KC LeDell Will:
Restore confidence in our justice system by demanding professionalism and accountability from himself and everyone in his courtroom, and following the law to protect the community and ensure the fair provision of justice.
Use his expertise in navigating and improving behavioral health systems to ensure people in Washington County are connected with the supports and services they need, not just dumped back on the streets.
Ensure that his courtroom is fair and welcoming to Washington County residents of any and every race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender expression, and immigration status.
KC LeDell is an experienced attorney who has spent his career writing and enforcing laws, advocating for greater access to mental health treatment, and representing the people in our community most in need of a helping hand.
He has served his community as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney, and has worked as an expert on mental health and criminal justice policy at the State Legislature and in the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission. He and his wife, a psychiatric nurse, have dedicated their lives to providing quality behavioral health services and fighting for a system that protects and nourishes every Oregonian.
